The reality show star, who checked into jail in this Los Angeles suburb at 3:15 p.m., was released at 4:37 p.m. “based on her sentence and federal guidelines,” Los Angeles County Sheriff‘s Deputy Maribel Rizo said without elaborating.
When asked whether Richie, who is four months pregnant, spent her brief sentence in a jail cell, Rizo replied: “I have no further comment.”
Richie had the option of serving her 90 hours at a “private jail.” These facilities are nicer than Lynwood, for sure, but there’s a downside. When an inmate does time at a private facility, they must serve out the entire sentence. At Lynwood, the Sheriff could turn a 4-day sentence into a revolving door, because of the overcrowding problem.Even if Nicole didn’t go in and out, she would do much less than 4 days. She could enter Lynwood late one evening (as Paris did) and she’d get credit for an entire day. On top of that, there’s “good time” credit that would shave a significant portion of the sentence.
Nicole is 4 months pregnant so i wont be a complete ass, and i wont crack a joke that the baby weighing more then the mother.
A court commissioner sentenced Richie to serve four days in the City or County Jail (her choice!) — she got credit for a fifth day, for the six hours she served after being busted.Richie was also fined $2,048, was ordered back to school for 21 days to an alcohol education course and on three years probation.
“She (Nicole) cannot stand being around me because I get all the attention and people really don’t care about her,” Paris told Elle magazine.
Ouch. But she goes on…
“I’ve been best friends with her since I was two, but when I brought her on to my show, she got very jealous and turned on me for no reason.
“It breaks my heart. She was my sister. She was the funniest person to be around and then she let the fame go to her head.
“She’s not the same person any more. I never want to speak to her again – ever.”
Why are people reporting this crap? Isn’t this becoming a little repetitive? Paris Hilton said Nicole Richie let the fame go to her head, what fame? I swear i don’t get it.
