New Austin Powers coming

austin-powers.jpg
Mike Myers, creator of the Austin Powers film franchise, told SCI FI Wire that he definitely wants to make another movie and will get to it after he finishes his next project, called The Love Guru. And it might focus on Austin’s nemesis, Doctor Evil.
“I have figured out that the story will be taken from the point of Doctor Evil,” Myers said in an interview while promoting Shrek the Third. “It will be powered from Doctor Evil’s point of view.” Myers added: “That will be the first of a trilogy. … I’m just joking! … I haven’t figured it all out. Who knows?”
Good i can’t wait.

People hate “Spider-Man 3″

spiderman-730179.jpg
Sony Pictures spent more than $250 million making “Spider-Man 3,” but all it got was a loud yawn from some major critics on its opening day.

The superhero saga, which debuted across North America on Friday, is on track to become one of the biggest box offices successes of all time. But tell that to the Washington Post or New York Times.

“Plain awful,” said the Post. “Plods along,” said the Times. “Pure camp,” said Richard Roeper at the Chicago Sun-Times.

To be honest i never seen any of the Spiderman movies or “Lord of the rings” or “Star Wars” i just couldn’t get into them, my brother from another mother Derek Hail said he hated the movie. So if you waited 5 hours to see the movie and liked it speak your virgin mind to Derek.

“Cabin Fever 2″ Coming Soon

cabin-feve.jpg
I thought “Cabin Fever” was a decent movie, anywho Paul (Rider Strong) didn’t actually die at the end of the first one and he is fearing for his life in the sequel
Giuseppe Andrews returns as the oddball Deputy Winston, who dumped the ill Paul in a stream at the end of the 2003 original. In the sequel, the killer virus comes out of the woods and has a date at the high school prom.
Director Ti West steps in for Eli Roth on the sequel, which is shooting in North Carolina. Lionsgate will distribute.

Comedian Judah Friedlander (NBC’s “30 Rock”) plays the Down Home Water security guard. Mark Borchardt (”American Movie”) portrays Winston’s cousin from Wombusaw, and fellow cult actor-director Larry Fessenden (”Habit”) plays an ill-fated water truck driver.

Noah Segan (”Brick”), Alexi Wasser (”Factory Girl”), Marc Senter (the upcoming “I Know Who Killed Me”) and Rusty Kelley play new potential victims.

Strong is perhaps best known for his role on the ABC series “Boy Meets World,” while West’s directing credits include “The Roost” and the upcoming “Trigger Man.”

Milli Vanilli movie coming soon

millivanilli1.jpg
Starring Ashlee Simpson snl.jpg (joke to obvious?)
The film, to be developed by Universal Pictures, will focus on Fabrice Morvan and Rob Pilatus’ fall from grace after they were stripped of a Grammy Award in 1990 for lip-syncing on their records.
But seriously this movie isn’t going to have a happy ending with a nice sunset (duh) half of Milli Vanilli “Pilatus” was found dead in 1998 of a drug overdose in a Frankfurt hotel at the age of 32.

James Brown movie already underway

jamesbrown1.jpg
He was the Godfather of Soul, a legend for half his lifetime, and one of the greatest showmen the world has ever seen. James Brown died on Christmas Day 2006 at the age of 73 of pneumonia in a Georgia Hospital, having been working and performing right up until the end. But two of his biggest fans, Spike Lee and Brian Grazer, today revealed that they’re planning to make a biopic of his life, with Grazer producing and Lee wielding the megaphone. But wait! Before you shout, “Have you no respect for the dead?” hold on just a cotton-pickin’ minute. This is no attempt to cash in on a man’s death. This is a project that’s been in the works for some time - Brown himself worked with original screenwriter Steve Baigelman (the writer and director of Feeling Minnesota), and with Jezz and John Henry Butterworth (upcoming Nicole Kidman project Headhunters), who turned in the most recent draft. But today’s news, that Spike Lee plans to direct, means that he’s going to take another pass at the script before the film goes into production.

And don’t expect to see this baby terribly soon. Lee has his bound-to-be-controversial LA riots film next on his slate, followed by an Inside Man sequel, both of which Grazer is also producing. In fact, the Brown film isn’t expected to go into production until 2008, so we’ll have to wait to see the ups and downs of the Godfather’s turbulent career (he served prison sentences for theft and drug offences, spent a brief time as a boxer and a baseball pitcher, was married four times and never learned how to read music). Since the rights to his life story include the rights to his music, one thing’s for sure - it’s going to sound fantastic.
