50 cent believes his new album will outsell Kanye West’s upcoming disc, and he’s betting his solo career on it.

“Let’s raise the stakes,” the 31-year-old rapper told hip-hop Web site SOHH.com in an interview posted Friday. “If Kanye West sells more records than 50 Cent on September 11, I’ll no longer write music. I’ll write music and work with my other artists, but I won’t put out anymore solo albums.”

An e-mail sent to West’s publicist wasn’t immediately returned Friday.

I would go buy 100 copies of Kanye’s CD but i doubt 50 would actually quit. If he put it in writing i’d definitely go buy 100 Kanye cd’s. Anyone agree? you wanna return to the “Candy Shop?” me either so lets help 50 retire!

While fans of both rappers have relished in the friendly rivalry that seems to be brewing between the pair over the release date, 50 Cent has actually accepted a challenge to debate Kanye West on live TV.

50 Cent appeared on BET’s 106 & Park countdown show on Friday to promote his upcoming album Curtis.

During the show, he accepted an offer from hosts Terrance J. and Rocsi to engage Kanye West in a presidential style “debate” to decide who has the best album, weeks before their albums hit stores.

The crime thriller ‘Righteous Kill’ is set to go into production this autumn and Fiddy is being eyed up for a role of a drug dealer who helps cops De Niro and Pacino hunt for a killer.

The movie will be directed by Jon Avnet and has a budget of $60million, most of which you’d suspect is going to the high profile actors.

Fiddy’s most famous acting role of course was in the part-autobiographical ‘Get Rich or Die Tryin’ based again on his drug dealing past. As well as a role in ‘Home of the Brave’, the rapper has several more film roles in the pipeline.

That’s awesome, i can’t wait to see a mumbling drug dealer going after a killer.
