That seems racist

nas-copy.jpg
According to MediaTakeOut rapper Nas’ album titled “Ni**er” (the actual word) has been pushed back and will be released on Black History month.
If you read this site regularly you know I’m a huge fan of the hip hop music (waiting for that Mood Music III Joey.) Nas might think he’s pushing boundaries (like Richard Pryor’s album titled “That Ni**er’s Crazy”) It just seems wrong. I’m buying it regardless, I’m just not asking the big black dude at Tower Records if they have “N**er”

Party at the courthouse!

rapper-hugi.jpg
With four hip-hop heavies in the house, any enterprising promoter could have staged a rap concert.
But the house was Manhattan Criminal Court, and the rappers — Busta Rhymes, Ja Rule, Lil Wayne and Remy Ma — were there Wednesday on separate cases ranging from assault to weapons possession.
You know that wasn’t just a coincidence, somebody is trying to throw all the rappers in jail! Somebody (the man) is planting drugs and guns on them

Rapper Tupac’s statue vandalized and noose tied around neck

tupac2.jpg
Legendary rapper Tupac Shakur’s statue located at the The Tupac Amaru Shakur Foundation in Stone Mountain, Georgia was vandalized along with other property.
The first incident occurred in the early hours of Saturday, October 20th, when vandals defaced the building as well as tying a noose around the neck of the bronze statue of Tupac Shakur (2Pac) located in the Center’s Peace Garden. The attacks are being investigated as hate crimes by the De Kalb County Sheriff’s Office. The second incident occurred at the Center at 2:00AM Monday morning when the statue was damaged further. A male has been arrested and is currently being held in custody.
What is up with all these freckin’ noose’s lately? Two of them have been found near where the World Trade Center once stood. Another one on a professor’s office door. I think this story pissed me off the most cause i’m a huge Tupac fan. It’s good to know that all of these rappers that “love” and respect Pac will get together and do something for his mom and the foundation. NOT.

Rapper Nas new Album title

hiphopisdead1.jpg
Nas has a new album on the way before the end of the year, and its name is sure to be a conversation starter. During an Oct. 12 concert at New York’s Roseland Ballroom, the rapper told the crowd the album would be called “N*gga.”
Def Jam had no comment on the title at deadline.

The set will be the follow-up to last year’s “Hip-Hop Is Dead,” Nas’ Def Jam debut. The set has sold 743,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Virginia Tech not happy with Nas concert

illmatic.jpg
The sister of a student killed by gunman SEUNG HUI CHO has spoken out about the inclusion of rapper NAS in an upcoming Virginia Tech benefit concert. Following reports that families of seven of the April (07) massacre’s victims are unhappy about Nas playing at the upcoming ’spirit-lifting’ concert, Alicia Farrell feels a performance by the rapper - whose songs include Got Ur Self A… (Gun) and Shoot ‘Em Up - will be “inappropriate”.

Rapper The Game arrested

thegame.jpg
Rapper The Game has been arrested in Los Angeles on suspicion of making criminal threats, it was revealed today
Although precise details of the allegations are unknown, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles Police Department revealed that the rapper’s detention related to an incident that happened in February, according to the BBC.

The 27-year-old, real name Jayceon Taylor, is alleged to have made the threats following a three-hour search of his Glendale home.

After being freed on $50,000 police bail, The Game told a film crew outside his home, “I want to say that I’m not guilty, and I love California.”

Remember “Chuck Taylor” no snitching, and i love Southern Florida.
