The Discovery Channel says the captain of the “Deadliest Catch” fishing vessel Cornelia Marie has died. Dang 53 and dying from a stroke, no tasteless joke here you heartless a-holes…..Sadly this is the only famous person we lost based in Alaska. How about that Sarah Palin? What a Gilf!
Capt. Phil Harris suffered what his family described as a massive stroke on Jan. 29 while the boat was in port at St. Paul Island, Alaska. The 53-year-old fisherman was flown to Anchorage for surgery.
A Discovery spokesman says the Harris family contacted the network Tuesday evening with word of his death.
I think i watched that show once before. It seemed very intense, don’t they make insane amounts of money for like 4 months of work? I dunno, my luck they would guarantee me like $250k and the first day a friggin’ shark would bite my head off before we got off the dock or whatever they call it.
