When Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt sold the pix of their newborn twins for $14 million (WTF $14 million for pix of babies?) they also wanted one more thing…They wanted positive coverage in the future.
According to the deal offered by Jolie, the winning magazine was obliged to offer coverage that would not reflect negatively on her or her family, according to two people with knowledge of the bidding who were granted anonymity because the talks were confidential. The deal also asked for an “editorial plan” providing a road map of the layout, these people say.
It’s funny how these celebrities say they don’t read gossip magazines or read blogs but they don’t want nobody to say anything bad about them. That’s like Paris Hilton telling Perez Hilton not to talk bad about her. Give me $14 million and i’ll never say anything bad about Angelina and i’ll even drive to her house and babysit her kids while they take a quick trip to Cambodia to adopt another kid.
