Actress (80 years ago, haters welcome) Tatum O’Neal was arrested around 7:30 p.m. at her Clinton Street home where police said they found bags of cocaine and crack in her possession.
Published reports said the 44-year-old actress initially told police she was doing research for an upcoming role, and that she pleaded to be let off the hook when the drugs were discovered.
O’Neal was in central booking in lower Manhattan early Monday, and was expected to be arraigned later.
Come on the whole “Researching a role” is so 2001. Get creative or get out the easy way by blaming it on the black dude, cops would easily believe that. Sprinkle that coke on him and your home by dinner.
